I’m writing a book, and you’re invited to join my CEO friends and others in this adventure. The objective is to create a collection of valuable mentoring advice drawn from leaders with real-world experience in creating successful companies.
Targeted at new company leaders and wannabes, Shoot the Runt shares working principles developed by successful CEOs, like my friends Gary Greenfield and Jim Janicki. Gary leads public company Avid Technology and was formerly CEO of GXS and others, while Jim heads up Ignite Technology and is the former founder and CEO of Metasolv that was acquired by Oracle.
Each chapter will feature a dialog between a new CEO and an experienced mentor in dealing with a tough business issue. The issues are drawn from successful CEOs like Jim and Gary. (If you know a CEO that should be included, email me at bob@2020outlook.com.)
